Shin, is uniquely qualified in that he is board-certified in three specialties (General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, and Phlebology), and is credentialed as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) and Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI).  His practice is dedicated to treating varicose veins and venous disease.  Dr. Shin was one of the pioneers in incorporating minimally invasive vein procedures in Houston.  He has been treating varicose veins for more than ten years and has performed thousands of successful operations for varicose vein management.  When physicians and nurses need their varicose veins treated, they seek their care with Dr. Shin.
